When someone calls back, they end up reaching the poor person whose number’s been copied. Obviously, that person’s got no clue what’s going on, which just adds to the mess. Seriously, if you don’t know the number and they haven’t left a clear voicemail explaining who they are, just don’t bother calling back!

Got a call on my home phone from this number. An automated voice said it was from some bank security team. Total scam, don’t fall for it! Just hang up straight away!
