I got a robo call claiming to be from Barclays fraud team saying a payment of £511.12 was going through. They didn’t mention which card or account it was linked to. They told me to press 1 if it wasn’t me. As I was trying to check with my missus if she knew anything about it, the call suddenly ended. This is definitely not how real banks operate. Feels like a phishing trick trying to see if you respond, then they probably forward you to a fake ‘customer service’ agent. Seems really dodgy to me.
