I got a call from an automated voice claiming there was a £600+ foreign charge on my card. It said to press 1 if I wanted to cancel it. When I did, a lady with an Indian accent answered and asked if I authorised the payment and if I wanted to stop it. As expected with these scams, they then tried to get my card info. It’s pretty convincing because they freak you out with fake fraud stuff, then try to steal from you for real. Luckily, I asked them for more info before giving anything, and they just ended the call.
