Absolute scam artists. This "Accident Helpline" keep ringing about sorting out cash for a recent crash - even if you haven’t had one. Proper dodgy. What really winds me up is how these scammers ring from loads of different mobiles. You block one, and then another one pops up straight away. So annoying.

Just block em (and another one just like it) all they do is pop into a shop and grab a new sim card for a quid. The phone company is the only one making money here. And honestly, do you reckon “they” will ever stop this nonsense?

I avoid picking up any calls from numbers I don’t know. Lucky me, cause it looks like these annoying people were calling absolutely everyone yesterday. The amount of spam calls I get is unreal. I’m forever blocking numbers. This kind of pestering really ought to be banned.

I got caught up in one of those “free Tesco voucher” scams, gave my number away without thinking. Lesson learnt, nothing comes for free. Tried calling the number back from the office and it was just some recorded message. I’ll give it another go in the wee hours next week to see if anyone bothers picking up then.

Since I first checked, the searches jumped from about 400 up to over 1000. Looks like it’s a fresh number scammers are using to ring loads of folks. They probably just dial random numbers until enough people complain and O2 bans it. I’d say report it straight to O2 as a scam so they can stop it being used.
