My wife got a call on her mobile from someone saying they were from some ‘international visa’ thing, claiming money was being taken out in two separate amounts. The call didn’t show any proper bank ID and they couldn’t explain clearly what was going on - we’re not the youngest and it all felt a bit off. Also, the message couldn’t be repeated and then the call just ended. We recently made a few small payments on our visa card to the US, but have never had a call like this before. Usually, we get text messages which can be re-read. Feels pretty dodgy to me!
