I reckon it was a scam call. The person speaking had a weird accent and his voice was kind of muffled, making it tough to understand. I caught that he kept telling me to press 1 to get in touch. Pretty sure it had something to do with credit cards or some sort of scam like that.

Got a dodgy text from someone claiming it was ‘mum’s new number’. Total scam!

They just keep calling non stop - total scam artists!

I think this should be sent to the ombudsman so they can look into prosecuting, as my credit was drained without permission.
