Got a call saying it was from Amazon, told me I'd been charged £79.99. They said press 1 to talk to someone. I did and this person with a really thick Asian accent answered. They asked if I wanted to keep the subscription or cancel it. I told them to cancel and called them a right scammer, then they just hung up on me. Honestly, Amazon never calls mobiles like that, and if you use apps like Hiya, any genuine Amazon calls show up as “Amazon” so it’s easy to spot fakes.
