This was clearly a dodgy call pretending to be from BT. Total scam.

Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be “Bank Security”, but they never mentioned which bank. They said there had been a couple of dodgy transactions on my account and wanted me to press some buttons to sort it out. I wasn’t falling for that rubbish so I just hung up straight away. If these muppets are scammers as people say, why are they still ringing around and haven’t been stopped yet?
