Got a call from some bloke saying: FINAL WARNING. They'll be at my place from 6 in the morning tomoz to carry out a Court Order. The guy, Mr Green, told me to ring him on 01604 258429 before 1.30pm or else. Honestly, he’s such a bully, kept on and on, and it’s all fake! Had me well upset, proper crying my eyes out.

Just got a message saying I need to send £425 to account number 9031677, sort code 60-00-01, with a reference number 24019991. It told me not to reply by SMS and called it a *FINAL NOTICE*. Apparently, my account’s been handed over to some EnforceXXXX agent who’s about to visit my home. The guy’s name is Jordan and the number to call is 0160428489. Sounds a bit fishy to me!

Got a message saying “Your address info has been updated. To avoid a visit from our agent, call 01604 628360 with ref ****** to sort payment options. Do not respond to this SMS.” Totally dodgy as it came to my job phone, which has nothing to do with any council tax or debts. Definitely a SCAM, don’t reply or ring back!

Turns out, it was definitely from the local council’s enforcement team. At first, I wanted to verify, and seeing all the bad feedback made me wary. Still, I did a bit of digging and chose to ring them up. The guy I spoke to wasn’t exactly friendly but wasn’t impolite either, just quite professional. Once he checked my info, he told me the amount I owed was spot on, so I went ahead and paid it.

Got a call from some bailiff bloke from Equita saying I owe loads in council tax and fees. He said there’s a court order but wouldn’t let me see it and was proper rude about it. Told him the council tax lot already cancelled the debt because of a mistake but he just wouldn’t listen and reckons I owe bailiff fees too. Now he says he’ll be round at 6am tomorrow to seize my stuff. Told him he can try his luck with that.

Really clever scam, watch out. Someone pretending to be “Michael Furlonger” from Equita (which actually is a real company) dropped a letter through my door. After I told him the council tax was already paid, he claimed Equita still had some charges outstanding. When I asked for a proper, official bill, he threatened to take me to court. So I decided to look up the number online and stumbled across this. These sorts of people should honestly be locked up!

Just got a text from the number below with the message shown. I'm really relieved I checked here first before calling or replying because it really freaked me out. Got a text from +44 7712 390964 today at around 3pm, 19th May 2023. It said: "Notice of Enforcement by Ross and Roberts. Failure to pay might lead to an Enforcement Agent coming to your home and extra charges of £235 or more. Got a bogus bailiff letter claiming they could enter my home and seize stuff unless I coughed up cash. Rang the number and the bloke was really rude, insisting I had to pay £500 or they’d turn up. They never showed, even though I didn’t pay a penny. Now, every week I get texts from the same number threatening to come round or demanding money. Pretty sure it’s a scam run by a firm in Northampton, cos when I called them first, they told me to call the bailiff. Total con to squeeze money out of folks.

She's been sending threatening messages, saying she’s called the police and is sending some lads round to "deal with me," haha. Guess what, she’s already switched her number to 07595396646. But the location and wifi on my phone are off, and it’s a pay-as-you-go, no address linked, so how did they even get my info? Just to be clear, I don’t owe anyone any money and all my bills are paid spot on every month. So this message really threw me. After thinking about it a lot, I’m convinced it’s just a scam.

Weirdly, a bloke pretending to be a bailiff already showed up at my door but left when I said I'd ring the Council he said he was working for. Felt a bit off to me.

Got a text saying my case’s gone to Ross & Roberts Enforcement Agents to collect some money I supposedly owe. They gave a reference number 2260351 and a phone number 01458 550480 to call for payment, or a website link for paying. It said not to reply as it’s a one-way message. I haven’t got any debts, so it’s not for me, but I can imagine how scary it might be for others. Feels pretty dodgy and like they’re trying to trick people into giving out personal details.

Received a message saying “Enforcement Agent Joel Govan will be coming by, ring 07951609120 and quote reference 22133364 to stop any removal of items. Don’t respond to this SMS as it’s no-reply.” So I saved that number (07951609120) on WhatsApp and got a weird creepy doll pic back. Honestly, I reckon everyone should do what I did and bombard that number with annoying texts and WhatsApp messages. Give it back to them, don’t let these scammers win.

They've been ringing and messaging me for like 3 or 4 months now, even left voicemails. I get super anxious and hate picking up numbers I don’t recognise.
