Got a call from a guy claiming to be David, said there were two charges on my card - one for 400 and another over a thousand pounds. The message on the line kept telling me to press 1 to cancel the charges. When I asked him for his real name, he just hung up on me. Definitely a scam, seemed like one of those fake Visa call centres, probably from India. Be very cautious with these calls. Feels like the UK has some of the worst scammers out there, trying to rip people off in no time. From Rachel Reeves at complaints.
