Just got a ring on my landline from this unfamiliar number. Heard the typical woman’s voice, saying she was from “Bank Security”, worried about two transactions on my account. One was a little charge from Amazon, then another big one over £800 from some random person. The same old story, nothing new at all! I’ve blocked the number straight away. Why on earth isn’t there anything done to stop these annoying scammers from pestering folks?
