Got a call from a mobile number claiming to be from a bank’s verification team. They said I needed a code to approve a transaction and gave me a number to contact their ‘bank transfer support’. It felt odd because they never actually said which bank they were from. The format of the call was quite unusual, and I reckon it could easily confuse people who aren’t tech-savvy. Really sketchy behaviour if you ask me.
