So I got a call from a bloke claiming he was with NatWest, saying he wanted to set up a meeting to chat about savings rates and all that. When I said I was tied up, he threw me this number 07711764400 to ring back for details. Yeah, no way I’m calling that!

Got a call from someone pretending to be from NatWest. I didn’t share any info and quickly contacted NatWest myself. They told me they had no record of calling my number, so I’m pretty sure this is a scam. The caller was a woman who sounded really convincing and even suggested setting up a Zoom meeting to ‘show she was actually at the bank during our call’. Obviously, I didn’t fall for it. Just thought I’d warn others to watch out.

Some bloke said he was from NatWest bank, but I’m not so sure that was true. Felt a bit dodgy to me.
