Got a few calls today from someone claiming to be Amanda, said she’s from NatWest in Filton. Rang me three times throughout the day. I even checked with the staff at the bank, and they said no one by that name works there.

This was obviously a scam, they claimed to be from NatWest doing some kind of account review. I said I’d ring my bank myself to check the number and they just cut the call straight away. Best just ignore and hang up!

Got a call claiming that someone had taken £700 and £900 out of my bank account. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

didn’t pick up, just replied asking who they were. got a message back saying “hello, this is jordan williams from natwest on queen street in cardiff. just a quick call to offer you a review of your account facilities. i’ll email you my details. honestly, just a friendly call, nothing serious.” seemed quite polite, nothing shady or anything.

I got a call saying I’d taken out a mortgage in principle through them not long ago. I told them I wasn’t available to chat, and they started asking when would be better, but then suddenly just ended the call with a quick bye. I’ve blocked the number now.
