Someone rang me claiming to be from BT OpenReach, saying there’d been an issue with my network security. They said they’d sent me a report to my phone and laptop, but I don’t see how that’s possible. They refused to give me a number to call back and verify the problem. They also mentioned I'd get a letter in the post the next day and threatened to disconnect my internet straight away! When I looked the number up on Google, it showed up as linked to Northampton Philharmonic Choir. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam.
