A call came through from someone who claimed to be from Amazon security, and they actually knew my name. They were inquiring if I was familiar with anyone in California, as apparently, there was an attempt to use my Amazon account for a charge of £79. I mentioned that I would contact my bank to put a stop on any transactions. The caller, who had a distinctly Indian accent, kept urging me to stay on the line to resolve the matter. Yet, I chose to hang up on him instead.
