Got a call on my home phone from what turned out to be a mobile number (Telefonica UK). It was a recorded message from a woman claiming to be from “Bank Security”. She said my credit card was charged two times earlier today, one being nearly £999 on Amazon. The message said these purchases were “never made by you”, and asked me to press 1 if that’s true, or 2 to get more details.
