what's the point of calling and then just staying silent? it’s really frustrating! and honestly, no one seems to be cracking down on these scammers who just target older folks that probably don’t know how to check or report this kinda stuff. really hope something’s done soon.

I thought it might be one of those government calls, but the moment I picked up they just ended the call which was a bit annoying. I actually enjoy keeping them on the line and dragging it out, once managed to keep one talking for like 40 minutes. Best to try it yourself at home, it's quite fun.

Got a call from someone claiming to be a government agency promising to clear up to £80,000 of debt?? When I asked for more details, the woman, who spoke with a heavy Indian accent, hesitated before saying, "we're working off a government scheme." I just told her thanks but no thanks and hung up.
