Got a call from someone claiming to work for BT Openreach. Since I'd been dealing with BT about my slow internet, I thought it was legit. They had me install these remote access apps on my laptop and phone. Next thing I know, they’ve hacked into my Amazon account and bought £600 worth of gift cards. Luckily, my bank stopped two of the transactions, but one sneaked past. I've had to change all my passwords and now I can’t even use my computer properly. Absolute nightmare.
