I got a call on my home phone from a recorded message claiming to be from my bank’s card department. The message said there were suspicious charges - £200 and £100 - made on Amazon. It told me to press 1 to approve the charges or press 2 to speak to someone about it. It sounded really legit, but obviously it was a scam.

Got a WhatsApp call from this number, had a profile name Brian Wilson. Didn’t pick up and ended up marking it as dodgy.

Got a call from this number, and it was obvious they were trying to figure out if my number is live for phishing purposes. Earlier, an unknown phone rang me from a different number, but I ended the call before picking up. Seems like this second number was just confirming that my phone was active! I reckon they use loads of different numbers and hardly ever call you twice from the same one - watch out for this!
