At around 1.18pm, I got a text from this number saying "You missed a call from me at 10:17 15 Jul. This is a free Call Alert from O2. To stop this dial 901, press *, then option 5 and option 5." But when I checked my phone, no missed or recent calls showed up. I didn’t want to risk pressing any links in the message, so I exited the text and dialled 901 straight from my phone as usual to get to voicemail. I went through the suggested options but found no new messages waiting. Not sure if it’s some kind of scam, but I figured I’d share what happened.
