Got a call about some illegal loan, sounded like it might be someone from Asia. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Got a call from 07710 172581, a lady with an Asian accent who said her name was "Anna" and claimed to be from the "Citizens Advice Bureau". She was asking loads about credit cards and which ones might be best. I just told her firmly "NO" and cut the call short, then sent a message too. I noticed the real owner of the number has replied on here, and honestly, I feel bad for them - must be really annoying what they’re going through.

Got a ring from this number, same old tale about some "unsecured debt". When I asked for specifics about who supposedly owed me money, and said I didn't have any debt, they just called me a liar and threatened to send bailiffs round first thing Monday. Lovely!

Some bloke rang me saying I owed money, total rubbish. Said he was from the CAB, but I told him they wouldn’t ring me on a mobile like that. What an absolute muppet! Watch out for these scams!

Please be careful, this is a total con. They claim you owe unsecured debt that needs sorting immediately and ask for your card info. When you try to ask anything, they just cut the call. They’re not interested in talking, just want your card to clear the supposed "debt". My partner works in the fraud team at the MET and says loads of these scams are going around right now. It’s all the rage sadly. NEVER share your card info with them!

Hey, it’s actually my number that’s being used in this scam, just to clear that up for the person who commented below me. Thanks for the heads up. I’ve had thousands of messages and can’t respond to all of them, but I am replying to those who send info or seem caught up in the scam, telling them to stay clear. My Facebook was linked to this number too, and strangers even sent pictures of my kids through it. Once my number’s disconnected, they’ll probably just start calling from other numbers. Seems like this is some kind of new con.

Just got a call from someone claiming to be from a debt agency, said I had to pay up right away. When I said I wasn’t interested, he kept interrupting me and was really rude.

Complete scam, got a call saying I owed money that had to be paid right away. I told them I don’t have any debts, but the woman insisted I did and demanded immediate payment. I told her that’s strange since I went bankrupt back in 2011, and then the call just ended suddenly. TOTAL SCAM, DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFO! I missed the first call and picked up the second, it showed the name Nic Martin but obviously not the real guy. Poor bloke, his number must’ve been used by scammers. PLEASE BE CAREFUL, IT’S DEFINITELY A SCAM!

This number rang me on my work phone for the police so I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. It’s not even my actual number, I’m just using it for the weekend. Got a missed call from this number this morning at 8:48. Saved it and had a look on whatsapp, there was pic of a young lady. Came back to check later and the picture had vanished! Clearly some dodgy scam - best to block it!

Just got a ring from this number. The person on the line said they were from the National Debt Helpline and insisted they had 'official govt info' about me owing money. When I asked how they got my details, they just repeated I owed debt. I told them if they kept saying that in public, I’d take legal action for defamation. Then they started saying they knew my address, shouted it at me, and said if I didn’t do anything they’d ‘be nice’ to me. I asked them to say it again, and then they just hung up. Total scam. Best to stay well clear.
