I received a rather concerning message indicating that I’ve been in touch with someone who’s tested positive for the omicron variant. What’s more alarming is the request for my credit card information to cover the cost of a test!

I received a text purporting to be from NHS Test and Trace, but it seems a bit off when compared to what the staff on 119 told me. The message references Omicron, which is a bit peculiar since NHS communications usually steer clear of naming variants like that. Plus, the link provided does appear to be legitimate NHS. Feeling quite dubious about it!
