I picked up this number thinking it was just a mobile, then got a recorded message saying two transactions hit my account this morning - £300 to Amazon and some overseas payment. I’ve never paid those places before, it asked me to press 1 to stop the payments or 2 to talk to someone. Of course I didn’t choose either and just blocked the number. Hope this warning saves someone else from falling for it… it’s unbelievable how daft they must be to think they can pull this off!!!!
