I got a call claiming it was from my bank’s security team, saying I needed to press 1 to confirm a charge of £199 to Amazon and another £899 to some overseas account. They said it looked fishy and I could press 2 to talk to their security folks. I just ended the call straight away - banks usually don’t ring from mobile numbers and they never even said which bank it was. Plus, my bank doesn’t even have my mobile number on record!
