I received a dubious call that claimed to be from the National Crime Agency, informing me of some sort of problem. They insisted I press 1 to speak with an officer and even went so far as to threaten to suspend my national insurance number if I didn't follow their instructions. Clearly, this is a scam!

Someone rang me saying they were from the National Crime Agency, telling me there was some sort of problem. They warned that if I didn't get in touch, they'd block my National Insurance number and any assets I had. They then said to press 1 if I wanted to talk to an officer. I just ignored it and didn't press anything.
