Got a voicemail saying it was from 'bank security' about two suspicious payments - one was £700 to Amazon, the other was to some overseas account but I didn’t catch the sum. They asked me to press 1 if it was legit or 2 if I wanted to question it. I hung up straight away, knew it was a scam right off the bat.

Got a call this morning from someone saying they were from Visa/MasterCard security about suspicious activity. They mentioned two charges on my card, the first one being 700 quid. Then the message just cut off suddenly. After waiting a bit in silence, the line ended with a message about the other person hanging up.
