I got a call from someone claiming to be from a life insurance firm, but I didn’t get the company’s name because the bloke had a heavy Asian accent and spoke pretty fast. The moment I told him I was signed up with the TPS to block these kinds of calls, he just hung up on me. So rude! Honestly, my advice is to sign up with the TPS - I’ve noticed a big drop in those pesky calls since I did. Even if you’re not signed up, just saying you are usually makes them back off straight away!
