Heads up about this number - it’s a total eBay scammer. I sold a pricey watch on eBay, and then someone pretending to be the buyer texted me saying “a mate will pick up the watch for them” and asked for my full address. It didn’t feel right at all, so I messaged the actual buyer directly. Turns out, they never sent that message. Looks like these scammers were trying to get into my eBay account to nab my personal info and intercept the delivery. Proper worrying stuff!

Tried to trick me out of a £2300 watch on eBay. Even though no purchase went through, we reached out to the actual owner to arrange pick up. Lucky the seller was cautious, otherwise the watch might’ve been given away. The guy also gave a phone number and a different address to send the item, so all that info is now with the police. Seems like he’s done this kind of scam before. Really hope he ends up behind bars and pays for it every single day!

Avoid this number at all costs! They broke into someone else's Ebay account, bought a phone, picked it up then vanished without a trace even after the refund was sorted. Proper scammer behaviour.

watch out! if this number texts you about buying something youre selling, be careful. they’ll ask to pay with paypal but once they get the item, they’ll claim a dispute and try to get their money back. unless you have proper receipts showing postage and tracking, paypal typically sides with the buyer. i learnt the hard way - dont ever accept in-person collection unless they’re paying cash on the spot. a lot of people don’t realise paypal’s seller protection only kicks in when you’ve got proof of posting and tracking.
