Got a call from this number accusing me of charging a credit card I don’t even own. Classic scam, totally dodgy!

Got a text off 07708927250 sayin they couldn’t renew my EE plan and if I didn’t click a link I’d get charged. I didn’t bother clicking cause I’m not with EE, and even if I was, I’d find it fishy! I mean, EE would just call me like a normal company, not send some dodgy text.

got a message saying i’d been near someone with omicron and to order a PCR test with a link: https://swab-test-kit.com. but i haven’t even gone out in more than three weeks, so straight away i knew it was fishy.

Got a text saying I’d been near someone with omicron and it had a link to order a test kit. Tried ringing the number back but no one picked up. Didn’t dare click the link either, felt a bit dodgy. The message said something like "contact with omicron case, order your test now: https://swab-test-kit.com".
