Got a call from an Asian guy calling himself ''Gary Smith'', he said someone owed him money and gave him my name. Proper rude when I asked questions.

Got a call from a bloke claiming I was paying monthly for some unsecured debts. When I asked him to give me a single example of what I was supposedly paying for, all he did was repeat himself over and over. Then out of nowhere he shouted, ‘Aren’t you listening? You must be an id##t, yeah an id##t!!’ Proper rude.

He wouldn’t tell me the company he was ringing from and as soon as I kept asking he just ended the call on me.

total scam! first they said they wouldnt ask for any of my info on the phone, then the guy starts asking for loads of my details to "check" if i qualified for a government scheme to clear my debts lol! when he claimed the gov would pay off my debts i knew straight away it was a load of rubbish! honestly, they should come up with a more believable story :)

Got a phone call from that number just now, some Asian bloke claiming to be from Citizen's Advice but it was obvious a call centre. He tried saying I owe him money - no chance! Had a laugh and told him to never ring me again. Total scam.

Sounds like a packed call centre from the noise. Got my granddaughter to pick up and try speaking in Irish, and the bloke just ended the call straight away.

i just got a call from a woman with an indian accent. she said she was from some money help service and said she wasn’t trying to sell me anything. she said they'd heard i was having money problems and owed debts. i told her that wasn’t true and she just cut the call.

Got a call from 12 05 17 around 10.30 this morning. Didn’t pick up and they didn’t leave any voicemail. After seeing the reviews here, I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.

I picked up and this bloke with an Asian accent asked if I was a Miss Williams. I said no, I’m a guy. Then he told me to get lost and just hung up. What a prat, honestly makes me wanna lose it.
