Got a call from someone saying they were with BT Openreach, but the signal was rubbish. They told me my private IP had somehow gone public or something. Asked me to visit ip.me to give them my external IP, but when I told them 192.168.0.2, they got pretty annoyed. I just kept stalling, saying I didn’t get what they wanted and asked them to repeat themselves over and over. Then out of nowhere, the call just cut off. If that was legit BT Openreach, their service is really poor!
