Someone rang me saying I could get money back from a PPI refund. Sounded like a scam to me, so I didn't bother with them.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from the government's national refund office. An Indian man told me I'd receive a big payout for some PPI I was supposed to have. He then asked me for my bank details - sort code, account number and even my date of birth.

Got a call from this number saying I had some PPI money due to me.

A bloke called Steve rang me, said he was from some Debt Advisory Forum in Leeds, promising to sort out all my debts through an IVF thing. Turns out it was all a load of rubbish, definitely not a legit firm. Total scam.
