Got a message saying I sent £1121.00 on PayPal to someone I don’t even know. Total scam for sure.

Got a text like this asking me to WhatsApp a "different number" said to be my kid, then they’d ask for cash. Don’t send anything, don’t respond, just report the numbers to 7726. Stay safe and don’t get caught out by this kind of scam.

Got a message claiming to be from my kid saying their phone is busted and to contact them on WhatsApp. Thing is, my child never calls me 'mum' in texts. Checked through other ways just to be safe - yep, definitely a scam.
