Today I received a message from 07707967260 claiming ‘your PayPal is restricted. confirm your identity today or your account will be locked.’ The phrasing was off - shouldn’t it say ‘your PayPal account’? Plus, it’s odd getting a text like this from a mobile number. The link provided was something like ‘paypall###’ instead of the real paypal.com. Felt dodgy to me, and looking it up on Scam Advisor shows it’s linked to Russia. Definitely a malware trap.
