I got a call saying my PayPal account was about to be closed, so I clicked on the link they sent. It only hit me that it was a con when they asked for my info again to 'renew' the account. I quickly changed my password on the real PayPal site. I also noticed the link started with http, not https, which was a big red flag.

I flagged it as risky because if anyone falls for it, it could cause serious trouble for the person receiving the call. It’s a PayPal scam, so best just to block and ignore it altogether.
