Got a text trying to mess with my PayPal account. If you get one, don’t click on any links or put in your passwords or details - just bin it straight away.

Got a dodgy text pretending to be from PayPal, trying to steal my account details. Luckily, I went straight to PayPal’s official site and saw their warning about messages saying “your account is about to be suspended.” Loads of scammers send fake emails pretending to be PayPal, telling you to type your password on a bogus page. Watch out, PayPal would never ask for your password unless you're actually on their real login page. If you get anything fishy, just forward it to [email protected] to help protect yourself and others.
