I had a very similar thing happen, received a text saying it was from Royal Mail. When I called back the number, it actually connected to a Giff Gaff voicemail which was a bit odd. I was at home all day, expecting a parcel, so it nearly fooled me. I only became suspicious after clicking the link to reschedule and seeing I'd supposedly have to pay extra for delivery again - that’s when I realised it was probably a con.
