Just got the same text myself and knew right away it was a scam. I regularly use PayPal for payments, so I could tell something was off. Honestly, best thing to do is just delete the message and don’t bother with it. If it was really important, PayPal would contact you proper like through a letter, not a dodgy text or email. So yeah, don’t get caught out, just bin it straight away.

I just got a message from this number saying my Paypal account was locked and I needed to use the link they gave. I went straight to Paypal's official site, and everything's perfectly alright with my account. Don’t trust the link, it’s dodgy!
