I got a message about student finance stuff even tho I never signed up for anything. Feels like it might be a scam. They included a link but I haven’t dared to click on it.

I was taken aback to receive a verification code out of the blue; it struck me as incredibly suspicious. That's when it dawned on me that the text message from this number was likely the opening gambit in some sort of phishing scam. I’ve promptly blocked the number and reported it without hesitation.
