Got a call today from 07707455409, like the ones here about some 'financial credit investigation'. They claimed I had a monthly payment going on, ridiculous. I kept saying “what?” a few times and then this Indian woman just cut the call. It's daft that they're using a mobile number to call, especially on a weekend. Honestly, they ought to update their script, so funny!

Received a call earlier today from someone claiming to be "John" from a credit control firm, but I ended up cutting the conversation short and hanging up. It all felt a bit off, to be honest, and now that they haven't tried to ring me again, I'm beginning to think it was rather fishy.

This number rings me every day without fail. Normally, I either decline or pick up and then just put the phone down until they hang up, but nothing seems to stop them. Today I actually picked up and, not too shockingly, it was a bloke with an Indian accent talking about some ‘financial investigation’ or something. I told him a couple of times to piss off but he kept calling back. The next time I answered, I couldn’t understand a single word he said. Pretty sure it’s some dodgy scam trying to steal bank info or the like.

Got a call on Saturday morning about some money they said I was paying every month, I told them I wasn’t paying anything. I mean, who even calls from an office on a Saturday? After I said that, they just told me to get lost and hung up, as if it was me causing trouble! Definitely blocked this number now. Avoid these con artists at all costs.

Got a call from Credit Investigating Services about unsecured debts like credit cards and overdrafts. I told the lady I don’t have any unsecured loans and then the call just cut off. The number was from GiffGaff. Same kind of call from 07821117524 too, same people I reckon. Checked with the credit reference agency just to make sure no one’s been fiddling with my info. Watch out - these are dodgy scammers, best to block them.

I’m a British Asian with Indian roots. Yesterday, I got a call from someone saying they were from a Debt Investigation service. I was quite rude to them. Then, today, the same person rang me again and started being rude back. They were talking in Gujarati and used a Giffgaff number. This number is the one they called from.

Hi there. I posted before about this, I’m a UK Asian, Indian background. Today I’ve had like 5 calls from this bloke who just rings up and swears at me. Don’t pity me, I give it right back to him. I reckon these fellas are after leads to flog to businesses here in the UK. I once did a job in a shared office in Harrow and the guy next door was buying leads like this. If only we could figure out who’s snapping up this info, then maybe we could track it back to the people who’ve been making the calls.

Got a call from some guy with an Indian accent claiming to be from the Office of Fair Trading about credit card and loan debts I supposedly had. Why on earth would the Office of Fair Trading be ringing me about that? When I asked for details on who I supposedly owed money to, he just cut me off and hung up right in the middle of me talking.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent, said his name was Kevin and he was from CAB. He told me I had a credit repayment coming. When I asked where he got my info, he couldn’t answer and just hung up as soon as I asked for the CAB registered reference number. Suspicious as hell.
