Someone called me, saying they were from a life insurance firm and that I’d submitted an online enquiry. I told them I never did, and when I asked how they even got my number, they just kept insisting I had. Ended up hanging up and blocking the number straight away.

Chatted for like 20 minutes, and it just felt off, they only wanted me to send the cash. Looked up the number and found loads of warnings, really glad I ended the call. They’ve rung back about 4 times while I was typing this, then tried calling from another number too. What legit company does that? Number’s blocked now.
