Got a message that looked like it was from HMRC saying I’d overpaid tax and linked to something suspicious. Since I’ve been retired for a decade now and haven’t paid any tax or got any savings, it’s clear this was a dodgy scam. Hopefully these fraudsters get caught out every time they try pulling this kind of trick.
