Received a message that read...
“Hey mum, please save this number. I've accidentally dropped my phone in the loo and my SIM is knackered. Could you give me a bell?”

So, I rang the number, and it went straight to voicemail! Later, I chatted with my kids, and it turns out they had nothing to do with it...
Am I dealing with a scam here, or is there a chance they could access anything on my phone?

I received a rather alarming call from someone named John Fisher, who's been making menacing threats about kicking down my door if I refuse to peddle drugs on his behalf. The whole situation is quite disturbing!

Received a text masquerading as the daughter I'd always wished for but never had. Quite odd, really.

Got a txt from +44 7707 225705 saying 'Hey mum, this is my new number for now. Dropped my phone in the loo, probably knackered it x'. Only my son would say that, but he never puts xxx at the end. Rang him up and his phone's fine. Definitely a scam - stay alert, block the number and don’t get caught out!
