Somebody called saying they were from Royal Mail about a parcel that needed reshipping for £1.55. She told me to put my card info in on a website that looked quite official. When I asked for the security code (OTP), my bank messaged me right away warning that someone was trying to scam me and was attempting to take out 7,860,120 Indonesian Rupiah, which is about £405! The woman even offered to take my card details by phone and do it herself, so I just ended the call straightaway!

Watch out for these scammers pretending to be from Royal Mail! They say there’s a parcel that needs to be redelivered and want you to pay £1.55. I was about to get caught until my bank texted me a one-time passcode warning the request was suspicious and someone was trying to take £17,873.78 in South African Rand from me. I ended the call straight away!
