I received a message from this number claiming to be from “Mum,” mentioning something about a dying phone and a new contact. Just to clarify, I’m not a mother and I certainly don’t fall for silly tricks like that! 😄

Received a message claiming to be from Santander, warning me about a transaction that was marked suspicious on the 3rd of September at 4:43 PM. They said if it wasn’t me, I should cancel it through a link. However, as I don’t even have an account with Santander, I presume that’s what they were hinting at. I’ve looked through my own bank statements, and thankfully, there’s nothing out of the ordinary.

I received a message from this number indicating that I'd been in touch with someone who tested positive for Covid and that I should ring them for a PCR test. Given that Track and Trace has ceased operations, it's pretty clear this is a bogus attempt to scam people.

Got a message saying they attempted to deliver a package, but I wasn't expecting anything and I was in all day. Definitely a dodgy scam trying to catch me out.

We've just had a text from this number mentioning that "Kieran attempted to drop off your parcel today, but alas, nobody was in. To arrange a new delivery date, please click here: (dubious link aimed at phishing for your details)." Upon ringing the number, you’re met with a phoney Tesco voicemail. I don’t even shop at Tesco, so it’s clear this message is nothing but a scam.

I got a text from this number claiming, “Your parcel is heading to your local depot. Kindly arrange your redelivery here: (dodgy link that’s clearly phishing). Since we weren’t expecting any deliveries at all, it was quite apparent that this was a scam.

Got a message from this number saying that someone near me has tested positive for Covid and I need to order a PCR test through a link they sent. That link took me to https://swab-testing-kit.com which isn’t an official government site at all. Definitely looks like a phishing scam!

Got a text saying my parcel's being sent back to the local office and to sort out a re-delivery through some dodgy link: https://failed-delivery-department.com. Looks like a total scam to me. Be careful folks!

Somebody rang me saying they were from the post office about a parcel I haven’t actually ordered, asking for my details to arrange for it to be delivered again.
