I got a text from someone claiming to be my husband's son, saying he had a new number and had accidentally dropped his phone in the loo. He asked if we could lend him £500 for a replacement, but apparently we'd need to send the cash to his mate's account because he'd also managed to ruin his bank cards by dropping them down the toilet too 😂. Yeah, we definitely saw through that one.
