05/04/23 WARNING! Tonight I got text messages from this number, claiming to be my daughter with a new phone cause hers broke and she’d lost all her contacts. They asked me to send £2,104 for a MacBook she supposedly ordered. Then they wanted me to pay a big sum through Moonpay, giving me a WhatsApp number to reach out to. So basically, I’d have to sign up to Moonpay first. When I finally spoke to my daughter, she told me her phone was fine and it was a total scam. some people are just awful out there.MG
