I picked up and got this automated message claiming it was HMRC, saying some letter was sent back and if I didn’t press one, legal trouble awaited. Figured I’d play along and pressed the button. Then I got connected to a person with an American accent asking what they could assist me with. Funny, since they called me first and wanted my info. So, today I introduced myself as Madam Boo Yah, told them to quit the scams, and wished them a good day. Then I just ended the call.
