They rang me three times today and honestly, I’m lucky I didn’t pick up after seeing what others said about them. These lot should definitely be reported, especially before they mess with older folks who might get really stressed out. Proper scoundrels, the lot of them.

Got a call from a bloke today, loads of background noise so I could hardly make out what he was saying. As soon as I asked for his name, he just hung up straight away.

He called and said if I didn’t answer him today, he’d be sending the police and bailiffs round. When I asked which department he was with, he just kept saying it was the government. I told him to call me back another time, and then he started getting all aggressive and rude. I told him I needed to check with my solicitor cos I wasn’t convinced he was who he claimed to be, and then I ended the call.

Honestly, if you get calls like these, you really should report them to the ICO. They’re so pushy and threatening it’s clear they’re not legit. It’s just a trick to scare people, especially those who might be vulnerable, into handing over money for made-up debts. The more folks that speak up and report, the better chance there is that these scammers will get caught and stopped before anyone else gets scammed.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Citizens Advice, trying to tell me I had debts to sort out. I wasn't having any of it and told them to jog on, ended up blocking another dodgy number.

Got another call from this number, some bloke saying he was "William" from the Citizens Advice Bureau. I told him straight away that CAB don't do cold calls and to take me off their list and stop ringing me. After that, William started threatening to send police and bailiffs to my place. I just told him it's obviously a scam and again asked to be taken off their database. Then he got all aggressive, said he'd come round and give me a smack, and abruptly ended the call.

They kept ringing me up, claiming to be from some debt collection company, real persistent lot. I’m baffled though, with GDPR in place, how on earth do they still have access to personal details like that? Does anyone know where or how we can report these dodgy callers? I’m keen to find out who’s in charge of policing this stuff.

Somebody called claiming they were from Citizens Advice, saying the Office of Fair Trading had sent them letters about debts I supposedly owe - which is totally not true. They were really forceful and quite rude. If they call again, I’m definitely going to shout down the phone at them!

Got a call out of the blue about some debt I supposedly owe, so I asked them where they found my details, but they just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from a number I didn’t recognise and thought it might be important, but turns out it was some telemarketer trying to sell me stuff I don’t need. It was a bit annoying since I was busy at the time and just wanted to get on with my day. I wish these people would just stop calling random numbers all the time!

Super pushy and so rude! I told them to stop calling me but they just wouldn't listen. The bloke goes, "Do you know who I am? I'll keep ringing you non stop and send bailiffs round your house!" Then, he started listing my exact address like he was all smug or something. Got so annoying I had to hand the phone to my husband. Debt management? More like a load of rubbish!

Someone rang me asking about unsecured loans and then suddenly wanted to know if I was alright. I said I was, but then they told me I shouldn't be fine and started threatening me. It was quite unsettling.

Had a third ring from this number today, said they were part of some credit fraud unit in hrme. They knew my name already but tried pressuring me to verify more personal stuff. I said no thank you quite nicely. Afterwards they warned if i didn’t share info they’d keep calling and that me and my family could face big problems. The call dropped straight after that. OC

Some man rang me saying he was from some sort of "help centre" or the like, claimed he got my details from the government and that I supposedly owed money. Then he tried to get me to spill info about my supposed debts. I told him I didn’t have any debts and he just called me a “p###” and said I was wasting his time before chopping off the call. Total scam, no doubt. I’ve blocked the number and reported it straight away.

I got a call from a woman asking for someone specific, claiming to be from the credit security department. I told her she had the wrong person, but she kept insisting I was the one she wanted. I told her to buzz off, and she replied with something like "we’ll catch you yet" before ending the call. I’ve since reported the number.

Absolutely sick of this. Got a call from some debt resolution place, I asked them where they’re located, and they said Manchester. They reckon I owe money on a loan, which is totally not the case. When I asked where they got my details from, he just refused to say. Told him I wasn’t pleased with the call and then he just hung up on me!
